This policy is effective from 22nd May 2018.

Why do we collect and use personal data?

There are a number of reasons that we collect and use personal data.

Contractual Obligations

Primarily, we require personal information to comply with contractual obligations.

For example, when you purchase from us, we’ll require your address and contact details in order to fulfil your order, and some or all of these details will be shared with the delivery company.

Consent

In some situations, we may ask for your consent to process your personal data.

For example, we may ask you to tick a box to enable us to email you a newsletter. When we require consent, you’ll see a short explanation of the service offered and you can opt-in if you wish.

Legal Compliance

In some circumstances, we may need to collect and process data if the law requires us to do so.

For example, in the case of fraudulent or other criminal activity, personal details may be passed to law enforcement agencies.

Legitimate Interest

In some situations, we require data to process legitimate business interests.

For example, we look at purchase trends/shopping histories to identify new products and keep up with demand. We may also look at your previous purchase history to send personalised offers or discounts.

Another example would be to request your feedback or invite you to leave reviews in order to provide a better service and products to you and our other customers.
